The passage
This trip takes you to Kaliningrad, the former German Königsberg, which is situated between Lithuania and Poland and Rotterdam, the world´s biggest port.The second port called in the Baltic, can be Riga or Gdynia, sometimes both.Eleven or more hours the passage of the Kiel Canal, the Kiel Fjord and the river Elbe will take.In this time you may see several vessels passing close by, the locks at Kiel and Brunsbuttel, and the lovely landscape of northern Germany.Very seldom it can happen that the vessel sails into the Baltic Sea by passing Skagen and the Oresund near Copenhagen.The embarkation normally will take place at Kiel (Ostuferhafen), very seldom at Hamburg.Sailings: every 8-9 daysSubject to change without notice.
Visa: you need a visa for Russia. Visa price is around 65,- to 85,- € if you want to get it within 14 days. For an extra charge, you can also get your visa at short notice (e.g. a visa within one week costs from 75,- €). You can get the visa at the visa office. They also can show you the actual prices:
