Cruising from Fremantle
Cruise Programme
Voyages have always been a very special feature of the Classic International Cruising Programme. Over the years they have refined their itineraries and have now incorporated some additional and exciting Mediterranean ports, giving you effectively two holidays in one- a traditional liner voyage and a Mediterranean cruise. Many of the passengers will fly directly to Europe just to join Athena and cruise home again. The 39 voyage from Fremantle to Portsmouth in April 2012, arriving in United Kingdom just before the summer is always popular. The voyage prices are reasonable in many cases passengers enjoy 35+ nights with all meals, accommodation and entertainment for less than the price of a business class air fare.
Voyages however are not Classic Internation cruises only speciality. They are always careful to plan a cruise to the far east with varying ports of call for their regular guests. The 20 night Asian Extravaganza cruise in 2011 should also appeal to passengers who never cruised before as it is unique way to experience Asia combined with the carefree and relaxing atmosphere of cruising. Bali remains an old favourite for all Western Australian guests for example and features as a port of call in the 2011 summer programmes.
Coastal and short break cruises of five nights or less are available and open the cruise experience up to all budgets and to those with time restraints of a hectic lifestyle. Many of the regular guests enjoy cruising so much they take the opportunity to step onboard the shorter cruises just as and extra getaway on their Classic Home-away-from -home. The two night temper cruises will give you the opportunity to bring partners away who has always resisted cruising. Passports are not required for domestic cruises and cruises to nowhere., so there is really no excuse not to give cruising a try. By popular demand there is a round trip cruise to Adelaide taking in the most popular ports in both Western and South Australia. With such a variety of destinations and cruise lenghts there are plenty of Fremantle departures to meet all tastes, needs and budgets.
